PLEASE NOTE: We have discovered that our email address has been used by criminal spammers in sending fake malware email notices.
If you have received an email like this please delete it. DO NOT click on any links in it, open any attachments or send the person money, as the entire email is likely a hoax. We will not send you an email unless you are already a client - we do not "cold email" anyone.
And we certainly will not perform the activities described in the spammers' email. We do not put malware on computers, quite the contrary: we remove malware by using utilities such as Malwarebytes. Some people mistakenly refer to it as "Malware" because they don't remember the entire name, but please be assured that Malwarebytes is NOT malware. It's a utility designed to help protect a computer from getting malware and it aids in cleaning infected computers. It is, in fact, one of the best and receives our highest recommendation.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE: WE BELIEVE OUR PHONE NUMBER IS CURRENTLY BEING "SPOOFED" (FAKED). IF YOU RECEIVE A PHONE CALL WHICH APPEARS TO BE FROM US BUT YOU HAVE NOT CONTACTED US FIRST, OR WE HAVE NOT DONE BUSINESS PREVIOUSLY, IT IS LIKELY A SCAM. WE DO NOT "COLD CALL" ANYONE.
Unfortunately, this can happen to any business or idividual. And until authorities standardize on a method to prevent it from happening there are only two things we can do: change our phone number or "wait it out" until the scammers move on to other numbers. If we change phone numbers there's nothing to stop it from happening again, so we have decided to wait it out.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by scammers (even though it is obviouly out of our hands) and rest assured that we look forward to a prevention technique when it becomes available.
REMEMBER: NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE UNLESS YOU INITIATE THE CONTACT!
